So Many Mustaches so Little Time

With November comes a change in time, a bit of a chill in the year and mustaches.  That's right mustashes. November is the month dedicated to growing mustaches and raising awareness for men's health.  The money raised goes to various men's health organizations including the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  Together, these channels work together to ensure that the funds are supporting a broad range of programs in awareness and education, survivorship and research.

The other day, I had the chance to sit down with my Brother-In-Law, Daniel Santos, who is participating in this great tradition and thought I'd share some of his thoughts with you.  On a normal day, you can find Daniel cheering on the Red Sox or grooving to the greatest '80 tunes, but in November you'll see a slightly different side of him...a hairier side.  Here's a little bit about why Daniel participates in Movember:
Day 1 stubble

  1. When did you become aware of Movember?
I first learned about Movember last year from a work colleague at work

  2. Why have you decided to participate in Movember?
I first decided to participate in Movember because I believe that it is    important to spread the education and importance of this cause.  I'm very committed to Movember; my Grandfather was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer a few years back, and I feel it to be the responsibility of every man to get a health check.

  3. What is your goal fundraising amount?
I do not have an official goal for Movember, but my personal goal is $3000

   4. Why should others participate in Movember?
Others should participate to become educated about an amazing cause/ fund to save lives.
