McGuirk Baby Shower

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of putting together a Baby Shower for the McGuirk family at Dolce Hayes Mansion.  The mother of the women expecting is the one who threw the shower and recruited me to manage games, decorations and the flow of the party.  This was her first time throwing a shower and she wanted it to be perfect for her daughter.  I had less than a week to put the whole thing together and I think I did a pretty darn good job. :)

The family is very irish and mom wanted to make sure that this was part of the celebration so we had clovers as our centerpieces and we brought in a performer to sing a few irish melodies for entertainment.

In addition to this, we had a banner made, balloons strung at each of the tables and candle favors for each of the guests.  Since the sex of the baby was not known we kept with a pastel color theme.

The party started with brunch provided by the hotel, then some games and present opening.  Finally to close things out Catherine Brady sang her heart out to the 24 guests in attendance.
